TechGYRLS at YWCA
Join YWCA Bethlehem as we launch an exciting new series of STEM activities this fall. Each week your daughter will learn about an inspiring female science pioneer and complete fun, hands-on STEM projects in a supportive all-girls setting. Instructor Amy Roop worked for years as a laboratory scientist before discovering her love of teaching. A long-time substitute in the BASD, Miss Amy has led afterschool TechGYRLS programs for the YWCA for the past two years.
The fall series will meet on Wednesdays, 6:15 pm to 7:30 pm. This TechGYRLS session is designed for girls in grades 4 through 6. LGBTQ children welcome. Participants may be from any school or be homeschooled. Maximum enrollment is 12 students.
Registration of $95 includes a t-shirt and pizza at the TechEXPO showcase.
